The first and eighth-grade students are undergoing intense, life-altering experiences. Contradictions characterize this age group. Students oscillate between hyperawareness of their surroundings and obliviousness to them. The approval of peers is frequently more important than that of a teacher, so they do not want to appear overly eager in class. It is important to be aware of this social behavior as this will dictate the pace at which these students will be comfortable learning. Students in Grades 1–7 will benefit from an enhanced, context-based, spiral progression learning curriculum that includes the following subjects:

Students are free to select from a variety of basic education subjects listed above. The tutorial should last at least 1 hour. However, students may choose to extend it based on the complexity of the subject they want to focus on. They may choose among the subjects for which they require additional assistance.
